Viscosity

The viscosity of a fluid is a key property to determine the behaviour of the fluid. The Tamson range of products is ideal for determining the kinematic viscosity of a sample. The kinematic viscosity of a fluid is determined by measuring the flow time for a fluid to flow through a calibrated viscometer at a known temperature.

For kinematic viscosity, temperature stability is very important. Tamson manufactures very stable temperature baths that allow the user to determine kinematic viscosity in a very precise way.
