Biodiesel
Biodiesel is used more and more globally. The biodiesel is usually blended with petroleum diesel, although in some application pure biodiesel (B100) is used. The increased use of biodiesel creates new problems in the field. Tamson manufactures equipment to test biodiesel on the filter blocking tendency (ASTM D2068 and IP 387) or to test the oxidation of engine oils operating in the presence of biodiesel fuels (CEC-L-109-14).
