Bitumen
Asphalts or bitumen are used in many different places, for example on the road, but also on the roofing of houses. Tamson manufactures equipment to test the viscosity and density of bitumen/asphalts. The viscosity of bitumen can be determined in two ways; by using gravity as the driving force (ASTM D2170) or by using a system with a controlled vacuum (ASTM D2171). Both apparatus can be supplied by Tamson.
