Precooling equipment as described per ASTM-D1837 figure2. The 6 m (20 ft) of 4.8 mm (3⁄16 in.) copper tubing is wound around a hollow mandrel resulting in an outside diameter of 54 mm (21⁄8 in.) and functions as a cooling coil. The top of the coil is at least 25 mm below the top of the cooling vessel . The open ends of the coil shall are less than 100 mm (4 in.) above as per ASTM D1837. The downstream end of the coil is connected to a 3.2 mm (1⁄8 in.) needle valve having an outlet connection not moreless than 76 mm (3 in.) long.
