Despite the challenging circumstances and thanks to our excellent distributors, we have been able to deliver a lot of new instruments during the year. Our factory remained open throughout the pandemic and has been able to maintain production as normal. Therefore, Tamson is capable to deliver products very quickly.
R&D
Despite the major challenge this year, Tamson is proud to have been able to introduce four new apparatus in 2020:
- ASTM D892 Foaming Characteristics of Lubricating Oils
- ASTM D445 TV4000 Automated Kinematic Viscosity
- ASTM D1384 Corrosion Test for Engine Coolants in Glassware
- ASTM D3231 Phosphorus in Gasoline
Tamson continues with R&D projects and we hope to come up with more information in the first quarter of 2021. With the four launched apparatus in 2020, we are able to offer a more diverse product line to our distributors and we are able to offer more testing solutions to the petroleum sector. Video conferencing
We recently invested in a video system. This allows us to have video calls and to hold webinars in a professional way. Several distributors have already become acquainted with this system. Tamson will use this system to have more visual contact with the distributors. Online training courses and product demonstrations to dealers and users are now possible. We hope to approach all our dealers by the end of the year. Please don’t hesitate to contact us to schedule a call.
New Catalog
A new catalog has been printed in which all new equipment has already been included. The 2021 catalog can be downloaded from our website. If you would like to receive a hard-copy catalog, please contact us.
