TTU-A, short shaft, stirrer

The Tamson heating immersion circulators are designed to control the temperature in a custom-made bath. The TTU-A is completely made from stainless steel and offers precise temperature control. The TTU-A is available in multiple versions. This version is equipped with a short-shaft stirrer. The short-shaft stirrer allows the TTU-A unit to be mounted in relatively shallow baths.

The TTU-A with short shaft, stirrer is available in the following voltages/frequencies:

  • 230V/50-60Hz (P/N: 19T3120)
  • 115V/60Hz (P/N: 19T3121)

The TTU-A is used for precise temperature control and offers high reliability under rough circumstances. The TTU-A is made of stainless steel and is an excellent solution to control the temperature in a custom made bath. This version is equipped with a short-shaft stirrer. The short-shaft stirrer offers excellent temperature uniformity in shallow baths. The system can offer an extremely stable working temperature of ± 0.01°C.  The exact temperature stability that can be achieved depends on the bath that is used. The set point temperature can be set in steps of 0.01°C. The temperature is displayed in 0.01°C. This two decimal-readout also is available from the RS232 and the free Tamcom software.
The TTU-A can be operated from ambient up to 200°C (41°F..392°F). Due to the "self-heating" of the stirring mechanism, the minimum temperature lies approximately 5°C above the ambient temperature.
The immersion circulator conforms to CE regulation and is equipped with a mechanical resettable safety thermostat and a float to ensure a correct level of the bath fluid.
