The Tamson Bracket is based on the Tamson Thermostatic Unit (TTU) and can be used for heating or circulating. The bath fluid is heated via a micro-processor controlled heating element. The bracket can be placed on a bath or tank. The width of the bracket can be adjusted between 186 and 422 mm. The unit is equipped with fluid level detection. The microprocessor controlled heating with auto tune function guarantees precise temperature control.
The bath temperature can be set to a maximum of +200°C (392°F) in steps of 0.1degree. The overall system accuracy is ±0.02°K depending on insulation of the bath and bath volume. RS232 communication is available as an option. To work at temperatures around ambient it is necessary to use cooling. For this reason a model is offered with a cooling coil. This coil is made from 8mm(outher) stainless steel and can be connected to tap water or a circulator.
Optional RS232 is available to controll the TB with the free communication software Tamcom.
The unit conforms to CE regulation. It further is equipped with multiple safety features in order to guarantee safe around the clock operation. A mechanical safety thermostat protects the bath against high temperatures and will automatically reset itself after switching the bath off and on again. The safety thermostat can be set between ambient and +300°C. In case of over temperature electronics and motor are switched off. The pump motor is protected against mechanical overload via a resettable fuse.
Standard available in °C, on request in °F. Display readout 0.1°C/F , via RS232 temperature readout of 0.01°C/F.
A pump circulates the bath content or provides external circulation. The pump pressure is 250 mBar and maximum flow is 7.5 litres per minute with no counter pressure.
